Made from a beautiful live-edge American Cherry wood slab, this piece features an illustration of two cedar waxwings sharing wild black cherries which has been burned by hand. The birds and plants have been painted lightly with inks. This design is one of a kind and will not be replicated.
Treated with a blend of linseed oil and beeswax, this should remain water and stain-resistant for a long time.
Wood sourced from a local sawmill near the studio, rescued from becoming firewood. As this piece is natural wood with bark intact, bark may fall off over time. Cherry wood is known to develop a darker tone/patina over time with UV exposure.

All ceramic pieces come with a damage warranty; you pay for shipping to me, and I am happy to repair any minor damage such as chips, cracks, clean breaks, glaze touch-ups, etc. (but I can't fix a completely shattered piece!) And if any piece is broken in shipping, I will happily repair, replace or refund. Personal accidents resulting in an irreplaceable break cannot be refunded.
